Xiaomi Mi 6 Flashing Guide From Global Stable to Global Developer ROM
(No Google Apps In China ROM)

XiaomiTOOL is ALLINONE MIUI Flashing Toolkit.

With XiaomiTOOL, you can Flash any device with LOCK BOOT LOADER to China Stable ROM/China Developer ROM/Global Stable ROM/Global Developer ROM (Only Official ROM that your Phone Supports), but if you want Flash to Alpha/Beta ROM you need to UNLOCK BOOT LOADER first, also can be done with XiaomiTOOL. 



 My Xiaomi Mi6(MCE16) is on Global Stable V8.2.2.0.NCAMIEC (MIUI8)

XiaomiTOOL V0.4.0

In this video I used Xiaomi Mi6 MCE16(Lock Bootloader) to flash Global Developer ROM from Global Stable ROM. This tool also works on different Xiaomi MIUI Devices. Some Xiaomi Devices (Bootloader Locked/MTK Driver Problem) may cause trouble in connecting with Xiaomitool, just remember to ENABLE USB DEBUGGING and OEM UNLOCKING before you plug in your device to usb cable. 




At XiaomiTOOL application shortcut, you need to click right button on mouse then click "Run as Administrator". Once you give administrator access and XiaomiTOOL loaded, you need to plug in your device to usb cable that connected to your computer. For best scenario, i've disable all fingerprint and all device lock function.
To start Flashing process, just click "Ok, I understand". XiaomiTOOL will search all driver that needed for your specific device. This procedure need your computer connected to the internet.
Just verified correct device detected then highlight your device and click "Select" to proceed.

Flashing new ROM will wipe all your device data. Make sure your do full backup before proceed. Click Yes to proceed.


During this process, your device will be reboot multiple time.


When you see this, you just need use your volume down on your device highlight "Connect to MiAssistant" or the last box and select using your power button. Then click "Ok, done".


On selection ROM choose your desire choice to Flash. 

"Green" if your device on LOCKED BOOT LOADER

"Red" you need to UNLOCKED BOOT LOADER device


My Mi6 MCE16 is on Global Stable V8.2.2.0.NCAMIEC (MIUI8) and i will Flash to Global Developer V7.7.17. Highlight then click "Select"
Verified your ROM selection. If correct click "Confirm" otherwise just click "Select another rom"


Your ROM selection will be download. Your need fast internet connection because one ROM size is over 1Gb


When you see this, you just need use your volume down on your device highlight "Connect to MiAssistant" or the last box and select using your power button. Then click "Ok, done".

Stock ROM flashing is running. It's take approx. 17 minute to finish

Congratulation, you flashing process succeed. Your device will reboot automatically and first reboot will take lot longer than normal. Enjoy your newly flash ROM
